We are a family currently traveling full-time in our 5th Wheel RV. We are Dad-Randy, Mom-Jill, Son-Jakob (age 12), and Daughter-Anna (age 7). Randy is self-employed, doing computer software development and consulting. In general, he can continue to do this while we travel. Jill has been home full-time since the birth of our oldest child. Her time has been largely focused on juggling the needs of a large family and managing their education (often by homeschooling). Like their older siblings, Jakob and Anna have spent some time in traditional school settings. They are being homeschooled again this year, giving us freedom to travel and to focus this year's social studies, literature, and history studies on what we discover as we travel to different areas. Jakob is currently in 7th grade and Anna is in 1st grade.

 Our oldest 4 children are young adults, living on their own. Celia (24) is a PhD student at Texas A&M, Roger (23) is finishing his Masters Degree at University of Chicago, Rob (20) is a senior at Bowling Green University in Ohio, and Nettie (18) is a sophomore at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.

 Other than 3 years spent in Columbia, South Carolina while Randy was in grad school years ago, we have lived in Ohio for the 27 years we have been married. We have lived in various suburban settings, and spent a number of years on a small hobby farm in central Ohio.

 We have enjoyed helping our children identify dreams and pursue them until the dream becomes a passion or until the dream dies out and another dream can be pursued. As parents, we have very occasionally followed dreams of our own---such as Randy becoming a private pilot and Jill becoming a ski patroller/instructor. Part of what we are doing with this season of full-time RVing, is searching for what dreams we might next pursue as a family.
